Perfect House- "The Sanggo-Jae"

 The Sanggo-Jae

This house was first viewed in the Philippines by the Asianovelas in ABS-CBN which is "The Perfect Match"
In the tv series, it was the house owned by Julien Park which was designed by his own father. But in the real life, it was really called "RAKKOJAE".

The HISTORY

Traditional Korea house located in the Bukchon Hanok Village. However only the gate of Sanggojae and the surrounding roads were filmed in Bukchon Hanok Village. The interior of Sanggojae was filmed in another location. Bukchon Hanok Village is a village with alot of traditional Korea house located there.

The name “Rakkojae” means “the place where one can enjoy the traditions of times past and rest one's soul” and judging from the photos of this 130 year-old house, it certainly looks like an inviting oasis of peace amid the concrete sprawl of Seoul. Its founder, Ahn Young-hwan, a former computer programmer, shared his philosophy on the website of his guesthouse: “Korea cannot be seen. It must be felt…. Korea’s recent past shows a struggle against poverty and devastation, and the dawn of growth-oriented development. But, in the process, a great deal of cultural properties were destroyed within the four gates. The time has come to restore our heritage, to enjoy life. I hope cultural spaces will be developed by other like-minded individuals in the future, because Rakkojae is only the beginning.”

Ahn enlisted the help of hanok architext, Jeong-Yeong-jin to convert the nobleman’s house into a luxurious guesthouse which could play host to not more than twelve guests at a time. It employs the traditional ondol system but at same time, you have modern plumbing in private bsthrooms, even a Japanese-style bath to soak fully in, and Net access.

famhouse(FAMOUS + HOUSE)

Who wouldn't know the famous house all over different countries especially here in our country. There's no other house I am talking about, and that was the PINOY BIG BROTHER HOUSE or the PBB as we all know.

The Big Brother House (2009)

Pinoy Big Brother was the Pinoy or the Philippine version of the reality show BIG BROTHER which started in other countries and was adopted here in our country which was still one of the most awaited reality show by the people who wanted to join and experience living in the PBB house which has passed many seasons and different times of renovation every seasons.

I really admire the different designs and styles of every seasons of the PBB and wonder the magic of the hands of those who renovated and built it.

The Big Brother House is a multi-room studio designed with walls painted with pastel colors complete with sets of cameras and microphones. The House is specially designed to capture the housemates' every move. Camera cross surrounds the house, it allows cameramen inside the house record the housemates' every move without being seen by the housemates. This hallway is equipped with a camera dolly for the camera's movement.
The house is surrounded by  two-way mirrors to allow the camera to see what's happening inside the house. The cameras cannot be seen through the mirror because the camera cross is painted black, it has to be as dark as possible so the cameras cannot be seen, though sometimes reflections of the camera or the cameramen are seen in some episodes.
It also has a garden and swimming pool. To capture the housemates' every move and speech, the house is equipped with cameras (in the camera cross or cameras on "hot heads") and microphones (lapel microphones used by the housemates, and boom microphones surrounding the garden area). For the housemates security and the essence of being locked away from the outside world, the garden area is totally covered with a camouflage-type of fabric.
It also boasted of a multi-faith altar in one wall of the house, making the house the only Big Brother house that has a room set aside for religious purposes (although it is said that the Arab Big Brother house had prayer rooms). And although any form of communication from the outside world is banned inside the house, there is a large flat-screen television set in the living room, used only for some purposes.
To complete the set up, 26 surveillance cameras are positioned all over the house to watch the housemates' every move, including the bathroom. For modesty's sake, however, images from the bathroom will be shown if the bathroom is used for any purpose other than bathing (such as gossiping).
The set up of the house, especially when shown on television, makes the illusion that it is a one-storey house. But anyone who passes by the house can easily notice that its facade is that of a two-storey house. That is because the second storey houses parts of the control room. The actual front doors to the house area are actually further inside.
